Returning in 2011
The White Knights season will kick off on Saturday, 2 April and be held every Saturday at 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Heffron Park Field 46.
The White Knights will have two age groups in 2011, following a successful first season last year:
- Under 5 to 10 (inclusive)
- Under 11 to 18 (inclusive)
The White Knights are sponsered by ESFA Major Partner, Link Market Services, whose generous support enabled the players to be provided with uniforms and specialised training in their inaugral season.
Unfortunatley our Link Market Services White Knights Come Try/Registration Day was cancelled due to wet weather. You are still able to attend the White Knights by attending on each Saturday.
For more information, or to register with the Link Market Services White Knights, please contact ESFA on info@esfa.com.au or 9666 8686.
How did it all begin?
The program was established by former ESFA Competitions Manager, Taleah Neowhouse. It officially kicked off on 17 April 2010 at Heffron Park with just five players, but quickly grew to fifteen by the end of the season, which became a great success.
ESFA is also grateful to the coaching staff of the White Knights during their inaugural season.
- John Hunt, from Coogee United, volunteered for the program and brought with him professional experience working with people with special needs.
- John Casey joined the program from Love Football. Casey has a wealth of coaching experience with children with autism.
The team was established with the long term goal of providing an opportunity for the players to step into the world of football, including playing in competitive matches.
