Sydney FC will be special guests at the Eastern Suburbs Football Association (ESFA) Small Sided Football Gala Day on Saturday, 21 July at Heffron Park.

ESFA invite everyone to join us for a fun day out with Sydney FC, hundreds of young players and their friends and family.

A number of Sydney FC players will be making an appearance at Heffron Park to support ESFA’s Small Sided Football program, which has been running since 2008.

The ESFA Gala Day will be a culmination of a great 2012 season and will bring together all Under 6 and Under 7 players from Maroubra United, Olympic Eagles, Coogee United, Mascot Kings, Maccabi Juniors, Waverley Old Boys, Kincoppal and Easts FC.

The upcoming Gala Day with Sydney FC follows the success of previous Gala Days in May and June of this year.

Our Small Sided Football Program is part of the FFA’s recognised pathway for young players. Playing a modified version of the game, players now extend from the youngest age groups through to 11 year olds. Scores are not recorded and players are encouraged to learn and develop their ability rather than simply to win.
