Waverley Old Boys Celebrity Six A Side

Football encompasses more than the game. The community surrounding football is a fundamental part of its existence. Often, we get the opportunity to assist areas of the community through the game. We are pleased to assist and help promote Waverley Old Boys FC in their venture to raise funds for the Go Foundation through their Celebrity Six A Side on Sunday 14th October, 2018.

Go Foundation was founded in 2014 by former Sydney Swans players, Adam Goodes and Michael O’Loughlin, focusing on education for Indigenous youth and is now expanding beyond independent schools, public schools and universities.

Details of how you can assist this program through football are below.

What a fantastic opportunity for the football community to come together with members of the other code, to assist in raising funds for this worthy Foundation.

With ALL funds raised going directly to the Foundation, let’s get behind Waverley Old Boys and make this day a great one, when two codes come together as one.

SUNDAY 14 OCTOBER 11am - 5pm



Waverley Old Boys FC is pleased to announce it is running a special 1-day charity 6-a-side soccer competition - raising funds for The GO Foundation.


To register you team, contact Tim Egan or 0426 557 225 as soon as possible.


Come play alongside & meet Adam Goodes and other Sydney Swans AFL players.


Mixed & Men’s competitions available.


Entry fee: $1000 charitable donation to The GO Foundation for squads up to 10 players.


Social & Corporate teams are welcome to enter.
