Saturday 11th May 2019, Round 5 of the AAM Championship and Pagewood Botany will play Waverley Old Boys in the Annual Dimos Mastoris Day, for the Dimos Memorial Shield.
This Day celebrated the life and memory of Dimos Mastoris who tragically passed away while playing the game he loved for Pagewood Botany in 2005 whilst playing Waverley Old Boys. Dimi was well known to Waverley through is alumni of Waverley College. The bond between the both Clubs has been cemented throughout the past 14 years.
Pagewood Botany successfully host this event annually at Jellicoe Park.
The day has now evolved to a full day of PBFC vs WOBFC celebration for the 2nd year running. With Pagewood v Waverley playing each other from U6s through to U12s. The U14s from Pagewood and Waverley will also be playing at Jellicoe. This is a wonderful celebration of the football family, football and Dimos Mastoris.
