The Annual General Meeting of the ESFA Referees Branch was held on Tuesday, 22 November 2011. The AGM elected members from both the Referees Standing Committee and Referees Management Committee.

George Magoulias and Paul Matthews were re-elected to the Referees Standing Committee, alongside newly appointed Peter Hillebrand. They join Alex Imvriotis and Gregory Calacouris.

Nick Asargiotis was elected as Deputy Chair of the Branch and joins Paul Matthews, George Magoulias, Alex Spiroski and Wayne Hillier on the Management Committee. The position of Technical Chair remains vacant, following the departure of Ned Sparkes.

The meeting began with a minute’s silence and tribute to Louise Mazzaroli, who passed away recently. Louise had sat on the Referees Standing Committee and was heavily involved with Cadet Referees, acting as a mentor for many junior members.
